Since 1983, the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Roseville has been the largest privately funded supplier of services in South Place County. We provide
hope as well as help for people that are in crisis. Our goal is to help people in need as they work towards self-sufficiency.
Our funding is supplied mainly through private donations. However, we do receive other funding through grants, churches, a few corporate contributions and profits from our thrift store.
St. Vincent de Paul of Roseville works closely with city, county, and other nonprofit agencies to provide direct services to those in need in the South Placer County area.
Each month, over 600 local families and 780 individuals receive supplemental groceries from the St. Vincent de Paul food locker.
Our clients are poor working families with children, seniors (many of whom are widowed), laid off workers and the physically and mentally disabled. No one is turned away.
At St. Vincent de Paul's food locker, each household is allowed to come in for groceries once every 30 days.
Single individuals receive four bags of food- breads, staples, vegetables, and meat.
Families with children are given and extra bag of food when available and sometimes something special, like a birthday cake or turkey!
